I filmed this moorhen and it's strange behaviour of eating black headed Gulls droppings.
I did try to find out why it would do this but to no avail. Nobody seemed to know or had seen this before. I'm guessing it's getting some kind of nutrients... But how does it know?
Knocking off Black Headed Gulls as it flits from pole to pole eating the droppings it seems to know exactly what it's doing as if it's a regular occurrence.
